Final
Creative Process - We created our poster and final project based off of the film Arrival . My group did not know where to begin in regards to our final project. To begin we had to choose a film. We originally were between ET, The Martian, and Arrival. We chose Arrival because it took place on Earth and we felt there was a lot to analyze about the film. We watched the film and discussed it's main themes as a group. Next, we met and drew up a diagram for our poster. We wanted the poster to primarily highlight photos from the film, so we took inspiration from our Blade Runner origami collages, and created a collage throughout the middle of our poster. We wanted the color scheme of the poster to match the dreary aesthetic of the movie. We decided to keep words minimal and add some 3D elements to the poster to make it pop.
